Which CU are you finding this on as a problem with special characters for any language using them was already fixed in CU203.

I selected the French language in CU203 and the following two attachments show the same WUI places as the bug reporter presented.

These show no incorrect French characters being displayed.

This supports the view that the problem reported was from prior to CU205 and is a duplicate of bug13996 which has already been fixed.
