Description Arne.F 2023-04-04 06:36:18 UTC
mkfs.xfs complain that the minimal filesystem size is 300MB but our bootpartition is smaller.
Comment 1 Arne.F 2023-04-04 13:56:06 UTC
Looks this is not allowed since xfsprogs-6.1.0

Do you think this is a show-stopper for Core Update 174?
Comment 3 Arne.F 2023-04-06 08:11:04 UTC
I think no because it is already in core173
Comment 4 Adolf Belka 2023-04-06 08:32:07 UTC
We already increased the bot size from 128MB to 256MB back in August 2022

https://git.ipfire.org/?p=ipfire-2.x.git;a=commit;h=06cb5c1bb7cdfafb8bf0bcb0b6d00c5548958806

We could increase the boot size again from 256MB to 512MB

We could maybe make a larger boot partition if xfs is selected instead of ext4 as an alternative

Tested out on my vm testbed with CU175. Installation with xfs worked fine and ended up with the larger boot partition.

Fix verified.
