Hello Support-Team, the protocol IGMPv3 is needed for the new IPTV streams (UHD), e.g. Telecom MagentaTV. Please update igmpproxy to the newest version. For some reference please see: https://forum.ipfire.org/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=19583&start=15#p121888 If you need someone for testing, I am available. Best regards, Marc
Hey Marc, thanks for the report. I have updated the package, but I cannot test this. https://git.ipfire.org/?p=ipfire-2.x.git;a=commitdiff;h=9d959ac151e10c8bf82ceec516da32e986481fd1 I have no access to a TV streaming service, so please fetch the package from the nightly builds, install it on your system and let me know if any other changes are required or if this will work out of the box.
Hello Michael, please how do I install the new package ipfire-file for testing? Is this a tar.gz? https://forum.ipfire.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=15399&p=95793 is not clear enough. Regards, Marc
Backup you igmpproxy.conf. Assuming you are running on x86_64, download this file: > cd /tmp > wget https://nightly.ipfire.org/next/2019-05-15%2013:17:26%20+0200-29b907c6/x86_64/packages/igmpproxy-0.2.1-5.ipfire The extract it: > tar xvfa igmpproxy-0.2.1-5.ipfire The run: > tar xvfa data.img -C / Restart igmpproxy and please test :) Let me know if this worked.
Hello Michael, the steps to download and install the nightly built worked. But until now I have no success in a working configuration in firewall.local and can not test it. I will ask for help in the mentioned forum topic. As I can see this built is now part of the latest core update 132. Thank you! Best regards, Marc
