The network functions in general-functions.pl and files around the firewall/firewall groups need to be refactored.

Most of them have changed their meaning over time and are not suitable for the job any more.

There is a network-functions.pl library that can be used instead.

Goal is to phase out any networking stuff from general-functions.pl over the time.

Ideally this needs a testsuite.
