lnav --> http://tstack.github.io/lnav/ is a curses-based Logfile Navigator for viewing and analyzing log files. The value added by lnav over text viewers/editors is that it takes advantage of any semantic information that can be gleaned from the log file, such as timestamps and log levels. Some features: Interleaving messages from different files; Generate histograms of messages over time; Providing hotkeys for navigating through the file; Color output for special log messages like warnings, errors etc. With lnav is it possible to quickly and efficiently zero-in on problems. The sources can be found in here --> http://tstack.github.io/lnav/ Greetings Erik
Have pushed the LFS, rootfile and make.sh to Git http://git.ipfire.org/?p=people/ummeegge/ipfire-2.x.git;a=commit;h=8a69b6dca171c375aea52da285218167b6be5b0c Erik
Hi Stefan, have seen that you have assigned to this bug (feature). Not sure if this Addon is a relevant one for IPFire (i like it very much) but i have updated it to the currently newest version 0.7.3. Also i deleted the dependency for sqlite cause i think since Core 89 sqlite is in the main IPFire system ?! If this feature might be interessting you can leave me a note and i will do the rest which should be done for a possible release of lnav on IPFire. Greetings, Erik

Hi Peter, i´am perfectly with closing this. This was loong time ago a request for this potential Addon but it is possibly not needed for IPFire. Will go the way over the dev list if there are others interessted in Lnav. Greetings and thanks for cleaning Bugzilla up ;-) . Erik
