Since different problems and wishes are mentioned there it could be useful to split this up in the future (umbrella bug?). For a start, I have tried to summarize the ideas and requests reported. Feel free to add what I missed.

From top to bottom:

Usability:
"...(icons) are not really self-explaining or distinguishable."

Altering of config files and feature request:
"...I guess none of my addons “do a backup". It would be useful if there was a way to at least backup the list of addons that are installed so I don’t have to guess when my firewall dies and I have to build a new one."

Usability:

Addons:
+1 for backing up the list of installed addons.
When a backup file is restored (especially when using an ISO), the user should be asked "Install all previous used addons?"
