    I should add that, using the test 4.29 kernel posted by user "trikolon" does allow me to make use of this card, but, for obvious reasons, I do not want to use that kernel in a production environment (though it sure does seem a lot snappier!). Arne is working up rebasing IPFire on Kernel 4.14. There is currently a testing version of that available. Would you be able to test if that is working for you? https://people.ipfire.org/~arne_f/highly-experimental/kernel/ I guess this kernel will arrive in IPFire in Q1. So far I have been running it for a bit more than a week without any major issues. Whoops! I posted that the new kernel had fixed this in the forum thread, but I had not put anything up here.
