We use SNMP for monitoring and it should automatically be installed on all systems.

Is there configuration too or do you just install the package and launch the daemon?

Turns out that snmpd is installed, but there is no suitable configuration. Is this meant to be installed, yet?

I have added the configuration from fs01 with slight modifications.

snmpd is not being restarted after the configuration is applied
